Database Connection Settings
The Database tab is designed to set up the database connection settings. There are two databases used by Bandwidth Splitter. The first is mandatory, the second is optional. The first database contains quota counters. The second database can be used to store bandwidth usage statistics, if you need bandwidth usage reports.

Usually you should not change the path to quota counters database file. You can check if database is accessible using the Test button. Note that this will check the connection to the database from the local computer (from which you run Forefront TMG Management console). If you connect Forefront TMG Management console remotely, you will not get correct test results.
For details about configuring database connection settings for bandwidth usage stats, see Bandwidth Usage Reports section.
